My name is Avril Matamala, I am a London and Barcelona based creative director, stylist, photographer, and digital artist, holding a BA in Fashion Styling and Creative Direction from Istituto Marangoni London.
My work exists at the intersection of fashion, film, music, history, and emerging technology. Drawing inspiration from cinematic storytelling, historical references, and the energy of heavy metal and alternative music subcultures, I create visual narratives through styling, photography, digital and 3D art.
I am interested in building immersive visual worlds that merge contemporary image-making with cultural and historical influences, exploring identity, atmosphere, and storytelling across both physical and digital mediums.
